part of a team is my favorite aspect of coaching. Working toward a goal as a group with a combination of personal best performances and team unity is a great way to prepare for life and future teams, whether in a college dorm, a work setting or a family. I encourage the athletes to put in the work, enjoy doing it with their friends, and look to the Lord to find His strength to do great things they may never have imagined being able to do on their own. Cross Country is the ideal athletic endeavor for middle and high school students as a life long sport.

The 2011 Cross Country teams have begun their season training with summer running and preparation for Fall races. We anticipate a strong group of returning Varsity athletes that are ready to push themselves for practices on hot August afternoons as they look forward to the Region competition and qualifying for the State Championship race on November 5th. The top five men and women have potential to turn some heads in the meets with other powerhouse Cross Country teams in the area. With experience and depth, Cross Country athletes will represent PCA very well.
