The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) is an organization created to build and maintain
communication between the parents and teachers. Each family enrolled at Providence
is automatically a member of the PTF. We accomplish the task as partners in a covenant
school by creating fellowship opportunities, sponsoring training for parents on
relevant topics, and engaging parents as volunteers in the life of the school.
In addition to the volunteer committees, PTF has regular prayer
groups open to all Providence parents. For more information please feel free to

MOM'S PRAYER meets every Tuesday from 8-9 a.m. in the High School Media Conference
Room, which is the first door on left past Media Center. For more information contact

DAD'S PRAYER meets the third Tuesday morning of every month at 6:00 a.m., 6:30 a.m.
and again at 7:45 a.m. in Room 131 of the High School Building. If you have any

We will be happy to send you a monthly e-mail reminder a few days prior to the
gathering.
- Please review the following PTF Committees for ideas on ways you
can get involved. Once you have decided which committee suits you best, you can
fill out an involvement form and drop it in the high school office to the attention
of volunteer coordinator, Hannah Shin.
- Teacher Appreciation: Assist in food preparation for monthly teacher
birthday recognition. Help with arrangements to celebrate holidays with special
gifts, or help coordinate a luncheon at the beginning and the end of the year. These
special occasions occur throughout the school year.
- Consignment Sale: Help to prepare gently used spirit wear and uniforms
for consignment sale, includes publicity, sorting clothes, and setting up for the
sale in August.
- Sally Foster Gift Wrap: A fall fundraiser for PTF. Help needed
with publicity, collecting, and counting orders, in addition to delivering the product
to the classrooms. Sale occurs in late September with collecting and counting orders
in October. Delivery will take place in October and early November.
- Campbell’s/General Mills: Assist in publicity and counting the
labels and box tops during the annual collection in February.
- Christmas Decorations: Spend a day helping to decorate the school
in early December for the holidays. Then spend a day in January to take it down.
- Creative Arts: Help assimilate and distribute orders to the elementary
for the Creative Arts promotion.
- Volunteer Coordinators: Assist in collating volunteer cards and
mailing confirmation letters to parents. Primarily takes place the first few weeks
of school.
- School Supplies: Assist with the ordering and distribution of elementary
school supply packets, and selling supplies during the drop-in visitation.
- Kroger/Publix/Recycling: Assist with publicity for these fundraisers.
- High School Talent Show: Assist with publicity, concessions, and
ticket sales at the talent show usually in October.
- Elementary Talent Show: Assist with publicity, concessions, auditions,
rehearsals and ticket sales for the show usually in February.
