used in calculation of the student’s overall GPA.
Old Testament Survey 1010(A)
Old Testament Survey looks at the major events and people in the Old Testament,
beginning with creation, and going through the United and Divided Kingdoms to
the return of Israel from Babylon. Emphasis is placed on discovering the nature
of God as He deals with His people and on everyday lessons that can be taken
from the various stories.
New Testament Survey 1010(B)
New Testament Survey is an overview of each book and studies its themes,
important references, and key truths. Greater emphasis is placed upon the
Gospels as they relate the life and teachings of Jesus. The history (Acts) and
Epistles are utilized to emphasize the development of the teachings of Jesus by
early Christians.
