Since 1991 Providence Christian Academy has sought “…to provide excellence in
Christ-centered education as an extension of the Christian home.” The result is
a partnership between home and school, producing an enduring Christian
community.
Within this community, the teaching faculty and support staff actively pursue a
biblical worldview in which all aspects of life are examined according to God’s
teaching. This pursuit is critical as we seek to provide a well-rounded program
in which our children have every opportunity to grow and flourish in becoming
all God has intended them to be.
Our vision is for students at Providence to grow in their walk with Christ,
demonstrate academic excellence, and impact the world in which they live. We
accomplish this vision through our dedicated faculty who value teaching as more
than a profession, but a ministry.
Having more than 800 alumni, we have witnessed students scoring extremely well
on national tests like the SAT, ACT, and AP Exams, with several National Merit
Scholars. Our graduates have attended a broad range of schools, including
prestigious universities. However, we emphasize the importance of these
accomplishments resting on a heart for God’s Word and service to others.
Therefore, every Providence student gets hands-on experience serving others,
whether it is through the grade level service projects in the elementary, or
the uniquely designed program of required community service at the high school
level.
As students succeed in living out the Providence vision, their leadership is
making a lasting difference in homes, communities, businesses, and ministries
across America and the world. For this, we are most thankful.
